Amanda Cathey is originally from Flanders, NJ, she has been training in all areas of dance from the age of 3. She has been a dance educator and creator in the dance industry for over fifteen years. Amanda is a nationally ranked choreographer motivating her students and teaching her knowledge of dance from the East Coast to the West Coast.

Amanda’s choreography credits are Founder and Executive Director of #Snapandchange an anti bullying movement to stop bullying. Founder and Executive Director of “The Company” a new dance company combining dancing, acting, singing, and theater for a greater depth into artistry. The Director of Operations and Communication for HALO Dance 4 Autism Charity Foundation. Director of the HALO Dance Army Dance Company, Director of Corona Del Mar’s prestigious dance team “Orchesis”, Amanda was the former Assistant Artistic Director of FOCUS Dance Center in Irvine, Ca, Former Varsity Song Coach for Northwood High School in Irvine Ca, Maccabi Jewish Olympic Games Parade, National Award Winning Choreography Awards, Annie Get your Gun Musical Production, Urinetown Production, High School Musical Production, Amanda has had the great opportunity to guest choreograph all around the nation and share her artistic ability with as many people as she can.

Amanda’s former commercial work before her choreography journey includes being a private dancer for Black Eyed Peas, Fergi, No Doubt and Snoop Dogg for the “Dance Party Productions” events, a dancer for opening acts for Steve Augeri (Journey) and a dancer with “Unity” Dance Company under the SYTYCD choreographer Tessandra Chavez. Amanda was a dancer in Disneyland’s “A Christmas Fantasy” parade, dancer in the Sacramento Ballet production of “The Nutcracker”.
